What happens when I move my eyes under the eye laser?
Dr. Victor Derhartunian explains how important it is to have calm eyes during laser treatment.
Many patients ask themselves the question, “What happens when I move my eyes under the laser eye surgery?” We have a video-assisted system, the so-called ”eye tracker”.
This follows your eye movements so that the operation and thus the correction can proceed optimally. If the eye movement is too great, the treatment is discontinued.
The laser pulses are counted and the operation, the treatment, is only continued once the patient has been immobilized again in order to achieve an optimal result.
