Dr. Kneifl’s medical focus is clearly on lens surgery. This includes in particular:

  • Cataract surgery
    – gentle removal of the cloudy lens
    – Implantation of a clear artificial lens
    – Goal: to see clearly again in everyday life – when reading, driving, working
  • Refractive lens exchange (CLE/RLE)
    – Replacement of the natural lens despite a still clear lens condition
    – suitable for higher ametropia or incipient presbyopia
    – Possibility to live with significantly fewer or no glasses at all
  • Premium and multifocal lenses
    – sharp vision at multiple distances (near, middle, far)
    – Option to largely avoid reading glasses or varifocals

Dr. Kneifl can therefore plan an individually suitable lens solution for every visual task – from cataracts to “freedom from glasses from 40+”.
