Should I take a companion with me to the operation?
Dr. Victor Derhartunian explains whether you should be accompanied on the day of surgery.
On the day of the laser eye surgery, you should always come with a companion.
After the procedure, you will usually be a little dizzy.
You will then need more intensive care, for example, you should be accompanied home.
You may need someone at home to put drops in your eye or serve you a glass of water.
That’s the reason for the companion.
