Vision after laser eye surgery may not be perfect at the first day check-up immediately after the operation. It also happens in some cases that vision is blurred on day one. However, this is not the final result. Vision is of course still affected by the swollen cornea and the different composition of the tear film, and the final result is not expected for weeks. After months, the diopter values can still change and only then do we assess the final result.
