My name is Christina Leydolt and I am an ophthalmologist.
I received my surgical training at the University Eye Clinic of the Medical University, where I have been working as an eye surgeon for over 10 years.
I very quickly specialized in lens surgery because I find it incredibly fascinating how much quality of life you can give back to the patient with this procedure.
I am not only a doctor, but also a scientist and head a research group, also specializing in lens surgery.
My aim with my research work is to continuously analyze, evaluate and further develop devices, surgical methods and artificial lens implants and improve them for patients.
