Am I suitable for laser eye treatment?
When it comes to suitability for laser eye treatment, we distinguish between two types of suitability.
Optical suitability
The first is optical suitability.
This means whether the patient is suitable for such treatment based on the visual defect, age of the patient and anatomical conditions in the anterior segment of the eye.
Medical suitability
The second suitability is medical suitability.
We can only determine this after thorough ophthalmological examinations to check whether the retina and optic nerve are in order, and only then can we determine whether the patient is suitable for treatment.
