What is the ReLEx-Smile eye laser method?

ReLEx-Smile, in this method a small lenticule is cut directly out of the cornea with the femtosecond laser, and this lenticule is removed through a small corneal opening.
The advantage of this method is that we do not open a flap on the cornea, and the major disadvantage of this method is that we cannot make a post-correction with the same laser, but have to use the old technology such as LASIK or PRK.
