Who can be treated with the Ziemer Z8 laser?

Ziemer’s FEMTO Z8 can be used to treat patients suffering from myopia or astigmatism.
The indication range of Clear is:

Short-sightedness: -0.5 to -10 diopters
Astigmatism: 0 to -5 diopters

Patients with long-sightedness cannot be treated with Clear.
Reasons for exclusion may also include a cornea that is too thin, other eye diseases or pregnancy.
Whether you are suitable for treatment with the Ziemer Z8 femtosecond laser is always determined by a doctor during the preliminary examination.
