How likely is the deterioration of spectacle values after laser eye surgery?
Dr. Victor Derhartunian explains why vision can deteriorate again after laser eye surgery
There is of course a probability that the spectacle values will deteriorate after the operation.
However, before the operation and when planning the treatment, we specifically look for refractive spectacle stability. The spectacle values should not have changed in the last one to two years. If these values are stable, then there is of course also the probability that the new values, i.e. those after the correction, will not change in the future.
Of course, we are dealing with a fabric here and small deviations are possible.
But the probability that you will get the same spectacle values as before the operation is extremely low.
