How is twilight vision after laser eye surgery?
Dr. Victor Derhartunian explains whether light sensitivity occurs after laser eye surgery.
After eye surgery, you may experience poor vision at dusk or in the evening. These are so-called ”halos”.
These are halos around the light sources. Most of the time, when you look at the headlights of cars coming from the opposite side, you can simply see that these headlights are shining.
This effect is usually short-lived and you get used to it. These effects disappear as the wound heals. This was a much bigger problem in the past. Nowadays, with the use of modern laser eye profiles, this problem is obsolete.
