How does an information meeting with EyeLaser work?

Dr. Victor Derhartunian explains how an EyeLaser information session works.

I always recommend that the patient comes to the initial consultation without contact lenses.
During this time, I can immediately determine his spectacle values objectively.
I can also examine the cornea for corneal thickness and corneal regularity and I can actually make a rough recommendation as to which method the patient is suitable for.
Then, of course, the risks are discussed and the patient’s expectations are defined.
And of course we also define what we can actually do.
You can’t choose the method straight away during the initial consultation, but you can give an indication.
The method is only determined during the proper preliminary examination, which lasts at least an hour.
The risks associated with the procedure are then explained in detail.
And of course, what the patient needs to know is the exact course of the entire treatment, from treatment planning to the operation, and what the care will be like and what time periods should be observed, what should be dripped.
