Experience report: Laser eye surgery for presbyopia (monovision)

Marion suffered from presbyopia and found wearing glasses a nuisance

I was presbyopic. I couldn’t see anything close up and that really bothered me. I didn’t want to wear glasses all the time.

Well, I have to say, I wasn’t nervous at all. I think I went in and while I was out, that was 20 minutes. No pain at all. It was just extremely uncomfortable because you had to look into the light. That’s uncomfortable for me. But apart from that, anytime again.

I haven’t tried it now because I was supposed to close my eyes for 24 hours. But afterwards, I could see better straight away. Not quite yet, it took a while. I think I’m still getting there. So it’s still improving, but it was great.

I’ve already recommended it to a few people. I think appointments have already been made.
