What happens during laser eye surgery?
In laser eye surgery, the eye is first anaesthetized with droplets, then an eyelid retractor is inserted and then we start the treatment.
Depending on the method, we use the femtosecond laser or a combination of femtosecond laser and excimer laser, i.e. first one laser, then a short break, preparation for the second laser and then the treatment is virtually completed.
Then the eyelid retractor is carefully removed and then we usually administer droplets, antibiotics and cortisone to prevent infection. I cordially invite you to contact our team personally.
During the first meeting you can ask initial questions and you can also get a first impression of how we deal with patients and what they can expect from us.
