Experience report: Lens exchange multifocal lenses for presbyopia
Gerhard W. talks about his experience with lens replacement for presbyopia.
I was farsighted and presbyopic, had about 2 diopters and reading glasses.
I was fitted with a trifocal artificial lens.
No pain, on the same day in and of itself, couldn’t sleep straight away.
The next day, after the follow-up check, everything was actually okay.
No pain, nothing.
I just had the protection over my eyes.
I took them off in the evening.
You could see something.
A bit blurry in itself, but you could see something.
The next day it was actually okay.
I would do it again.
It was annoying when you went shopping because you wanted to read the price tag but couldn’t.
Glasses on, glasses off.
When it rained, glasses got wet and that was a problem in itself and then I did it.
I would do it again, in a heartbeat.
