What is SmartSight? How does SmartSight differ from other laser eye treatments?
SmartSight is a new generation of lenticule extraction.
This means that in this case we only use the femtosecond laser and the femtosecond laser cuts out a small lenticule from the inside of the cornea, which is simply removed through a very small, tiny opening of around two to three millimetres.
Nowadays, this is a really very non-invasive method where we don’t have a flap at all. Nothing can shift if we compare it with LASIK or Femto-LASIK, for example.
