What is the probability that I will need a follow-up correction?
Dr. Victor Derhartunian talks about the likelihood of laser vision correction.
In laser eye surgery, or in refractive surgery in general, re-corrections are quite normal.
The rate of re-correction depends on the patient’s visual defect.
The higher the visual defect, the higher the number of corrections.
It can be said that up to a diopter of around 5 diopters of short-sightedness, corrections are very rare.
In our case, they are around two percent, and this rate increases from 5 diopters.
