What alternatives are there to laser eye treatment?

If it turns out that you are not suitable for laser correction, lens surgery procedures can be used.
Additional lenses can be implanted in the eye.
This procedure is known as phakic intraocular lens correction.
Alternatively, an artificial lens can be implanted instead of the patient’s own lens.
This procedure is essentially the same as cataract surgery.
Special lenses can also be used to correct presbyopia or high astigmatism, for example.
