• Since 2014: Head of EyeLaser Linz: laser eye surgery, cataract surgery and refractive lens surgery, attending physician at the Diakonissen Clinic Linz
• Since 2015: Senior Consultant for corneal surgery at the Department of Ophthalmology at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) as one of the most frequent corneal surgeons in Austria. Specialty: Perforating (also laser-assisted) and lamellar keratoplasty (DMEK, DALK), amniotic membrane transplants, implantation of corneal ring segments (INTACS, Keraring)
• 2009 – 2014: Head of the corneal outpatient clinic and the Center for Refractive Surgery at the Convent Hospital of the Merciful Brothers Linz. Establishment of numerous new treatment methods (including corneal crosslinking, topography guided PTK, DMEK and many more) in Upper Austria. Cataract and refractive laser and lens surgery (including multifocal, toric IOLs, Visian ICL, etc.)

• School years in Linz and Belo Horizonte (Brazil)
• Completed his medical studies at the Karl Franzens University of Graz and UBO Brest (France).
• 2003 – 2009 Training as a specialist in ophthalmology and optometry at the Convent Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy in Linz.
• Numerous internships and guest residencies at renowned ophthalmology departments in Germany and abroad.
• Award of the specialist diploma in Sept. 2009.
• In the same year Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO) as one of the first ophthalmologists in Austria.
• Then worked as a specialist and senior physician at the eye clinic at the Convent Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy in Linz until June 2014 (including co-founding and managing the eye laser center and the cornea outpatient clinic).
• Ophthalmologist in private practice in Linz since 2014 with surgical activities in Linz, Vienna and Zurich (Diakonissen Linz Clinic, KUK, EyeLaser).
• At the same time, he founded the EyeLaser eye laser practice together with Dr. Victor Derhartunian in the same year.
• From November 2015, senior physician and senior consultant for corneal surgery at the Eye Department of the Kepler University Hospital (KUK) in Linz.
