Do I need glasses after the lens exchange operation?
In a lens exchange, the body’s own lens is replaced with an artificial lens.
Nowadays, we have a wide range of artificial lens implants.
We have monofocal lenses that enable the patient to see well at a distance, we have special lenses that enable the patient to see well at a distance and close up, but we also have lenses that cover the intermediate range, i.e. the middle range, and thus enable the patient to see in this intermediate range, which is often the computer range.
We discuss this in detail with the patient before the operation:

We discuss this in detail with the patient before the operation:
- What are his hobbies?
- What does his everyday life look like?
- What distance is important in his everyday life?
- Does he work more on the computer?
- Does he work closer to home?
- Does he have a hobby where distance is important?
This is why we discuss with each patient individually which type of lens is most suitable for them in order to enable them to be as spectacle-free as possible after the operation. I cordially invite you to book an appointment with EyeLaser.
This appointment can also be arranged online.
During this appointment, initial clarifications will be carried out and you will get to know our team personally.
