Additional lenses can be implanted in the eye. <\/p>\n<p>This procedure is known as <a href=\"https:\/\/eyelaser.at\/visian-icl\/\">phakic intraocular lens correction<\/a>. Alternatively, an artificial lens can be implanted instead of the patient&#8217;s own lens. This procedure is essentially the same as <a href=\"https:\/\/eyelaser.at\/grauer-star-katarakt-operation\/\">cataract<\/a> surgery. Special lenses can also be used to correct <a href=\"https:\/\/eyelaser.at\/augenlasern-bei-alterssichtigkeit-lesebrille-eyelaser-wien-linz\/\">presbyopia<\/a> or high <a href=\"https:\/\/eyelaser.at\/hornhautverkruemmung-astigmatismus\/\">astigmatism<\/a>, for example.   <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What laser eye alternatives are there?
