This is folded open. The visual defect is corrected inside the cornea and at the end of the treatment this flap is folded back.  <\/p>\n<h4>What difference does this make for the patient?<\/h4>\n<p>Treatments without an incision are much more painful after the operation and the patient needs a longer period of time, several days to several weeks, to achieve good vision. However, in the case of treatments with an incision, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/eyelaser.at\/femto-lasik-augenlasern\/\">Femto-LASIK surgery<\/a>, vision is already very good the next day. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are two types of laser eye treatments: treatments with incisions and treatments without incisions.
